The Washington Hotel is a beautiful historic inn. The woodwork and fixtures are gorgeous and the public and private areas are meticulously maintained. Our room was immaculate and beautifully appointed, with large windows, a sofa that opened into a bed, a coffee table and other furniture and art that fit the period. The bathroom was attractive, with a large shower, with beautiful tile inlay. There is a public room with fireplace and furniture near the guest rooms, and there were three different kinds of candies available there, a nice greeting for a quick snack after traveling. On our previous stay, breakfast was self-serve in this room, but on this stay options were room delivery or breakfast in the bar/restaurant (I'm guessing this change was for Covid safety during this stay). We did not have time to have dinner in the restaurant on this stay, but did so on our previous stay and had a wonderful meal. The only issue that came up for us was that there were no linens to go with the open-out sofa. We returned to our room after hours so made do, but guests planning to use the open-out sofa might check in advance and ask for linens for it if needed during business hours. This is a wonderful property, and we will definitely stay at this hotel again any time we are in Sellersville.

Rooms are very nice as well as clean. Included continental breakfast is great. Dinner downstairs is great. Nice sitting area on 2nd level if you want to do some work including the wifi. Staff is very attentive. wide range of rooms at different price points. Being just myself on business I took a smaller room but included the dinner package resulting in a good value vs staying near the PHL airport. When I return to the area I WILL stay here again.

I just love every single thing about the tower suite at The Washington House. The Tower Suite spans 3 floors with the main bedroom on the first level, a sitting room with a pull out couch on the second level… and my favorite the tower observatory!
Accommodations Include:
▫️queen bed
▫️rain shower
▫️twin sinks
▫️a desk
▫️pull out couch
▫️refrigerator
▫️hair dryer
▫️iron & ironing board
▫️and more!
It is so beautiful looking out at the little town of Sellersville from the tower observatory. I can’t imagine how beautiful the view is during a snowstorm! I also absolutely love the brick wall in the main bedroom.

Dinner time at The Washington House was exceptional as always. Every single meal I’ve had here has been absolutely out of this world, and this meal was no exception. The only bad part about the night was having to decide on which items to order! We kicked off the meal with an order of the Crispy Potato & Cheddar Pierogies with apple, caramelized onions, sour cream and picked mustard seed as well as their Arancini appetizer special. I then had to order my favorite menu item - the bratwurst on a pretzel roll with sauerkraut, whole grain mustard and rosemary Gouda cheese sauce. Finally, we ended the meal with a Black Forest cake, Pumpkin Truffle Bread Pudding and a Chocolate Peppermintini. Everything about our dinner was fabulous from the food, to the atmosphere, and even the excellent service.

When you stay at The Washington House, you are treated to a wonderful breakfast to get your day started each morning. Before you go to bed, you fill out a sheet that says what time you would like to come down to eat and you check off what items you would like to order and slide the form out into the hallway to be collected. The next morning, you come down to the pub area during your selected time and the food will be there waiting for you! We had a tasty selection of waffles, yogurt, scones, hard boiled eggs and more.

I can’t say enough good things about the room, the hotel staff, the restaurant and Washington House in general We enjoyed exploring the town of Sellersville and getting to see Micky Dolenz at Sellersville Theater while we were there!

Highly recommended!

Overnight stay that exceeded our expectations. Booked the room months in advance when we purchased theatre tickets at next door venue. The booking allowed us to include discounts if we added a dinner reservation. It also gave us a continental breakfast we could take in the restaurant or in our room. To our surprise, they upgraded our room when we checked in because we had taken advantage of booking the restaurant. Hotel was charming as well as clean. Food was delicious. Staff was pleasant and friendly. It was a nice change to just walk next door after the concert rather than driving 30 miles home in the dark.

I wanted to take a minute to thank The Washington House Hotel staff for making our special 2-night stay over Valentines Day memorable and seamless. We treated ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed all The Tower Suite had to offer... right from the 1st "WOW!" at the view from the top. The suite provided plenty of space and amenities for (safely) hosting local friends, as we had hoped. What surprised us was the romantic cosiness of the bedroom area! Both Valentines dinner for 2 and hosting 5 of us the next night in the restaurant were truly culinary treats and beautifully presented. Continental breakfast service was timely, accurate and delicious both mornings. All staff were professional, friendly and effective...including the requested extra pillows being confirmed at check-in! We are already planning how we can take advantage of this unique space for future stays. WELL DONE!!

Loved the quaint atmosphere of this small hotel/restaurant. The rooms and overall decor was warm and inviting. The small things that kept this from a 5 rating were the HVAC unit in our room was a bit noisy. I think the bathroom fan was not working. The complimentary breakfast was a little dissapointing. They charge extra for the waffles and then were served cold. We had to send them back. None of these issues would stop us from coming back though. Lastly, the food at the restaurant was very good. If you book on the hotel site, do yourself a favor and pay the extra $15 for the $50 voucher to use at the restaurant. I wasn't sure we would eat there and didn't do that, but wish I had.

This hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and convenient. It was close to where I needed to be for a family event. The prettily decorated room was a nice size, with foot-thick walls and windows, and the bathroom was brand new, with a walk-in shower. The bed had a medium firmness. The room featured a supportive armchair for reading and a desk which worked well for a laptop. Complimentary water bottles were offered on the desk. Outside the room was a sitting room with lovely decorations, a fireplace, and an inviting vibe. The continental breakfast was served in the tavern, which, with its wooden benches and lace curtains, was reminiscent of an 18th century pub. The staff was friendly. Be prepared for multiple flights of stairs (the lift had more of a dumb waiter feel to it and was clunky enough that I did not use it a second time), a mini-split heating system with small lights over the bed, occasional street noise, and street parking a block or two away, especially when a movie is showing next door. Still, for the price and the ambience, it is much nicer than a chain hotel and well worth a visit.

Lovely hotel and adjoining restaurant. The hotel was spotless with thoughtful, nice little touches here and there and everyone enjoyed their fairly priced, generous dinner. The staff in both places was friendly and efficient. We will plan another getaway for a show at the Sellersville Theater and stay at this hotel. Delightful!

The Washington House restaurant, with its takeout and tasting experiences, made life during COVID livable. Once we felt safe, we booked two nights since we have always wondered what the Tower Suite would be like. The staff at the Washington House could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Breakfast was scrumptious and delivered on time and well warmed. The various parts of the suite were beautifully maintained. A few suggestions: a hassock and throw for the tower room; a better refrigerator set up; a bowl served with the yogurt/fruit at breakfast so they can be mixed. These are just small things and I am certain that the next time we stay (and there will be a next time!) these ideas will be taken seriously. Oh...don't miss dinner at the restaurant. The staff is wonderful and they even boxed up our desserts so we could eat them in our room. Little things...and WHH does them so well.

We only stayed one night at the Washington House Hotel but we had a wonderful stay. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and the room was quaint, beautiful, and clean. Traveling during COVID means that some things are different but I quite enjoyed having breakfast delivered to the room instead of having to go to a random hotel lobby to eat. I would recommend the Washington House Hotel.
