MEMORIAL
DAY EVENTS |
|
Widely observed since 1868, Memorial
Day was originally known as Decoration Day because participants
honored the nation's Civil War dead by decorating their graves.
In 1971, Congress declared Memorial Day a national holiday to be
celebrated the last Monday in May. We have gathered a list of Memorial
Day Events to keep you busy all weekend.
